Orpheum Theater

The Orpheum Theatre is truly one of Memphis' most remarkable success stories; a theatre able to overcome a variety of adversities that ranged from several untimely bankruptcies, a devastating fire, the decay of downtown Memphis, and the threat of demolition for the construction of an office complex. Yet the "South's Finest Theatre" rose above all this and is the Mid-South’s premiere performing arts center.  View the Official Site.

Opera Memphis

Opera Memphis is fortunate to perform in the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Memphis among other venues. Renowned for its old fashioned theatricality, the Orpheum is also a very "singer friendly," theater with excellent acoustics for opera. It is the perfect setting for opera--come see why.  View the Official Site.

Playhouse on the Sqaure

Memphis' only professional live theater, offering the best of Broadway and off-Broadway at an affordable price. This theater is located in the heart of midtown right off of Overton Square.  Visit the Official Site.

Levitt Shell

Levitt Shell is the home of the performing arts in the heart of historic Overton Park. Since its dedication in 1936, the Shell has delighted Memphians with variety of exceptional entertainers, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, the Grateful Dead, and many more. After extensive renovations, the Levitt Shell is once again the Mid-South's most enchanting venue for free, outdoor, professional performances.
